Besides the new Elle Aime Tekent BOX, I’m also launching my very first ONLINE COURSE! FINALLY.

I have been teaching lots and lots of illustration workshops and courses over the years, but it has been my dream for a long time to add some online courses to that – so anyone can join in at any time. Wherever you are, whenever you want. And I’m happy to announce that that time has finally come. Let’s draw together!!

THE COURSE:

The Elle Aime Tekent COURSE is an online course and it’s theme is ‘Get started, keep drawing!’.
It will be all about overcoming self doubt about your creative abilities (we’ve all been there!), about finding inspiration and motivation to finally get started with drawing more often and about developing your own style. But mostly about how to enjoy making art (again)!

During all of the workshops that I have hosted over the years there were some things that kept coming back in my conversations with the participants. Not knowing what to draw or where to begin, being scared of failure and not enjoying the process because of perfectionism and comparing themselves to others.

My heart breaks when I hear that someone is not doing what they love because they are lost in the jungle of Pinterest and Instagram, where everything seems to be perfect and gorgeous. Or because they just can’t get past the stage of staring at a blank page and not knowing where to begin. If you can find a way to enjoy drawing without being too harsh on yourself it can make such a big difference in your life. For me it’s one of the things that keeps me going on those days that I just want to hide from the real world, it gives me the opportunity to create my own little universe where everything is cute, cosy and colourful. I hope I can spread that joy with this course and the box!

The course consists of 4 lessons:
Lesson 1: Overcoming insecurity
Lesson 2: Stop the comparison
Lesson 3: Developing your style
Lesson 4: Finding inspiration

Every lesson consists of one or two videos about the subject including practical tips, a PDF with all the information written down, one small and one big illustration assignment and a printable or downloadable goodie.
